What is So Special About The Green Peel® Herbal Peeling Treatment?
The Green Peel® herbal peeling treatment is a purely biologically-based product. Contrary to other peeling products, GREEN PEEL® contains no chemical, often harmful substances or synthetic peeling agents. How does the Herbal Peeling Treatment work without any chemical substances?
During the special massage with the herbal mixture, micro-particles of the herbs gently smooth away the outermost layers of the skin. At the same time we recommend that you provide us with a clear statement of your objectives for this treatment. We also recommend that we capture before and after photographs so that you can clearly determine our success in remediating your skin.
After cleansing the skin with special cleansing products that are compatible with the herbs, we begin the peeling process. The herbal mixture is massaged into the upper layers of the skin with a special circular massage. We modulate the duration--as well as the level of pressure we exert--as required to influence the intensity of the desired peeling effect.
How Does the Skin Look After the Treatment?
Right after the peeling treatment, the skin will be flushed and a slight burning sensation similar to the sensation of a slight sunburn can be felt. Over the next few days we recommend that you only use skincare products specially formulated for caring for the skin as it heels. These products also support the peeling process and protect the skin against moisture loss and harmful environmental influences. Between day 3 and 5 subsequent to treatment, the "old" skin normally begins to loosen and peel off by itself. Until then you are free to go about your daily business without interruption.
What Additional Care Does the Skin Require After a Green Peel® Treatment?
After about 5 days we ask that you return to Body Naturals for an exclusive follow-up treatment with active ingredients. This return visit is important as it affords us an opportunity to "feed" the new, particularly permeable "new skin" with valuable active ingredients. To protect the new, delicate skin from harmful environmental factors and stress, for the next 6-8 weeks after the follow-up treatment we ask that you protect your skin with a multifunctional skincare cream with SPF 20. We will also provide you with some guidelines and a list of acceptable skincare products for your use during this time, especially as regards anti-aging and acne repair requirements. If an additional peeling session is required, then we will make you aware of it during this meeing. Rest assured that the Green Peel® method can be repeated several times without any harmful side effects, or as a preventative measure once or twice a year.
